Which training courses would you like to have Access to as a teacher ? Why ?. Which is, in your opinión, the best way to share good practice amongst teaching professionals? Why?.

It is essential that a teacher has a permanent training to adapt to changes in the society in which they happen very quickly. Changes that require rapid and appropriate response by teachers to provide solutions to them.
We are in the era of technology ; ia in which teachers present no problems , but if you have more important problems who are at an age close to retirement.
It is obviously no easy task for docnetes and if we also added that changes in educational legislation are constant, since in the last 35 years there have been more than 10 education laws situation aggravates this adaptation to society from all of us .
In these last years the teacher has seen his work in relation to administrative tasks has increased with the ratio and other aspects.
All these situations and many others make it necessary that the teacher adapts and is also more than ever permanete so formed . Recycling is important especially these days .
Not to mention the increasing importance of the English language which increasingly is growing and requires learning teacher forced rhythms.
Courses must be not only English but obviously if you vonstituyen a great porcentahe of the courses that are offered to teachers by the importance is acquiring some time until now.
Other fields such methodology , NEE , new technologies are fields to which we must pay full attention they need and that is no small . Given today to have pupils with special educational needs is a reality in our classrooms to which we must give prompt response and that often is not easy obviously requires proper training.
I think it is essential that teachers share tips as they can be very useful for all of us to problems we may have in the classroom in our daily life such as: response to children with special educational neccesidades , methodology …
Therefore , I believe that one way would be through courses that teachers share experiences with other teachers from other central and thus we become rich to each other .

SUMMARY 2

IF I was not limited by the demands of the demands of the national/regional curriculum, what would you say is the most important thing you would teach your students about your subject in a CLIL context. ¿How would you asses their teaching?.

Would try to carry out activities where students have the opportunity to think and reflect and thus have a critical attitude in life, and I think it is essential that the have and especially in the times we live . Avoiding as far as possible as rote as often students simply memorize before the test and once done I can not remember anything that has estudiado.También often studied without giving the content a real application thus also to study without seeing sense not know how to apply this new knowledge in a real context .
In the course of Spanish Language and Literature would try not Primara exclusive grammatical teaching for students to acquire communicative competence has been demonstrated after many years of study that is ineffective for students to acquire such competence .
I would give the importance of grammar and that it does not become an end in itself but meets the basic purpose of learning the language and literature : used to learn to communicate , to use the language to acquire new knowledge and learn through language , to express ideas and feelings .
Language teaching methodology called CLIL with very useful and interesting for students to learn from what I’ve seen in class, but I have not been implemented in the classroom.
It is important to assess the learning of our students because:

• To compare students with each other.
• To see if students meet a particular standard.
• To help the students learning.
• To check efficiency of teaching programme.

In relation to the evaluation I would use different activities to evaluate (diagnostic, formative and summative) and also it would be carried out throughout the process not only at the end so that saw the development of students.

And finally, here are some evaluative tests I use with my Primary students :

• Questions: true or false.
• Choose an alternative multiple choice.
• Porfolio.
• Oral presentatio.
• Fill the gaps.
• Work in pairs and groups.
• Short answer.
• Reflections.

SUMMARY 1

Taking into account my personal teaching context, what would be theb advantages and disadvantages of using the ELP with my groups.

The use of portfolio for learning and evaluation is fast becoming ever more common in Spain . This increase is due to the need for teachers to empower students through reflection on their own learning processes .
The portfolio is a method of teaching , learning and assessment consisting of the provision of productions of various kinds by the student through which they can judge their abilities in a particular subject .
The portfolio is an instrument to support processes such as critical thinking , communication , research, reading, listening, speaking and writing. It is an activity that enables autonomous learning and learning to learn.

Here are some advantages:

• Provides extensive information on learning.
• You can share the results with colleagues and other teachers.
• Promote learner autonomy and critical reflective thinking .
• Have a great motivator to be a continuous work where they will quickly checking the efforts and results achieved component.
• The portfolio is a personalized product , so no two are alike.
• The student to develop this strategy projects the diversity of learning that has internalized . In this model the positive learnings are detected, problem situations , the strategies used in the execution of tasks .
• You can share the results with other classmates and teachers .
• Counted from the beginning to the criteria to be evaluated with students.

Here are some disadvantages:

• Lack of security for not being doing well.
• Excessive spending time by the teacher and student , but the key aspects are selected or no control mechanisms are established.
• It involves a high level of self-discipline and rsponsabilidad by students .
• The use of portfolio means for some teachers a change in teaching style.
• The evaluation must be very systematic in reference to the objectives and progress , but can be subjective .

In conclusion I think the portfolio is a very useful grassy and although today is not widely used in primary classrooms , I think that in the future will be increasing because I think that is a very interesting tool for teachers for everything discussed above.

The Ugly Duckling

This tale love the children and they can learn values and also learn English.

THE UGLY DUCKLING.

Once upon a time down on an old farm, lived a duck family, and Mother Duck had been sitting on a clutch of new eggs. One nice morning, the eggs hatched and out popped six chirpy ducklings.

But one egg was bigger than the rest, and it didn´t hatch. Mother Duck couldn´t recall laying that seventh egg. How did it get there? TOCK! TOCK! The little prisoner was pecking inside his shell.

-“Did I count the eggs wrongly?”

Mother Duck wondered. But before she had time to think about it, the last egg finally hatched.

A strange looking duckling with gray feathers that should have been yellow gazed at a worried mother. The ducklings grew quickly, but Mother Duck had a secret worry.

– “I can´t understand how this ugly duckling can be one of mine!” she said to herself, shaking her head as she looked at her last born.

Well, the gray duckling certainly wasn´t pretty, and since he ate far more than his brothers, he was outgrowing them. As the days went by, the poor ugly duckling became more and more unhappy. His brothers didn´t want to play with him, he was so clumsy, and all the farmyard folks simply laughed at him.

He felt sad and lonely, while Mother Duck did her best to console him.

– “Poor little ugly duckling!” she would say. “Why are you so different from the others?”

And the ugly duckling felt worse than ever. He secretly wept at night. He felt nobody wanted him.

-“Nobody loves me, they all tease me! Why am I different from my brothers?”

Then one day, at sunrise, he ran away from the farmyard. He stopped at a pond and began to question all the other birds.

-“Do you know of any ducklings with gray feathers like mine?”

But everyone shook their heads in scorn.

– “We don´t know anyone as ugly as you.”

The ugly duckling did not lose heart, however, and kept on making inquiries.

He went to another pond, where a pair of large geese gave him the same answer to his question. What´s more, they warned him:

-“Don´t stay here! Go away! It´s dangerous. There are men with guns around here!”

The duckling was sorry he had ever left the farmyard.

Then one day, his travels took him near an old countrywoman´s cottage. Thinking he was a stray goose, she caught him.

-“I´ll put this in a hutch. I hope it´s a female and lays plenty of eggs!” said the old woman, whose eyesight was poor.

But the ugly duckling laid not a single egg. The hen kept frightening him.

-“Just wait! If you don´t lay eggs, the old woman will wring your neck and pop you into the pot!”

And the cat chipped in:

– “Hee! Hee! I hope the woman cooks you, then I can gnaw at your bones!”

The poor ugly duckling was so scared that he lost his appetite, though the old woman kept stuffing him with food and grumbling:

-“If you won´t lay eggs, at least hurry up and get plump!”

-“Oh, dear me!” moaned the now terrified duckling. “I´ll die of fright first! And I did so hope someone would love me!”

Then one night, finding the hutch door open, he escaped.

Once again he was all alone. He fled as far away as he could, and at dawn, he found himself in a thick bed of reeds.

-“If nobody wants me, I´ll hid here forever.”

There was plenty a food, and the duckling began to feel a little happier, though he was lonely.

One day at sunrise, he saw a flight of beautiful birds wing overhead. White, with long slender necks, yellow beaks and large wings, they were migrating south.

“If only I could look like them, just for a day!” said the duckling, admiringly.

Winter came and the water in the reed bed froze. The poor duckling left home to seek food in the snow. He dropped exhausted to the ground, but a farmer found him and put him in his big jacket pocket.

– “I´ll take him home to my children. They´ll look after him. Poor thing, he´s frozen!”.

The duckling was showered with kindly care at the farmer´s house. In this way, the ugly duckling was able to survive the bitterly cold winter.

However, by springtime, he had grown so big that the farmer decided:

“I´ll set him free by the pond!”

That was when the duckling saw himself mirrored in the water.

– “Goodness! How I´ve changed! I hardly recognize myself!”

The flight of swans winged north again and glided on to the pond. When the duckling saw them, he realized he was one of their kind, and soon made friends.

-“We´re swans like you!” they said, warmly.

-“Where have you been hiding?”

-“It´s a long story,” replied the young swan, still astounded.

Now, he swam majestically with his fellow swans.

One day, he heard children on the river bank exclaim: “Look at that young swan! He´s the finest of them all!” And he almost burst with happiness.
